30% off all LEGO @ M Electronics / Migros
News just in this week from the land of Chocolate (aka Swiss) that M Electronics and Migros have 30% off all toys until Saturday 26th October. This is a normal promotion that Coop and Migros run as we approach the Christmas madness.
LEGO can be relatively expensive here, but 30% off RRP is not to be sniffed at and you can get a decent bargain as opposed to Shop@Home.
For me, it is a great time to get all those sets and accessories that you don’t normally bother with. I did the exercise a couple of years back where I bought a mass of road plates for future use.
Coop will be doing their promotion soon, most probably in mod November, whilst in Germany Marktkauf will should have a 20% promotion running at some point. Add the 19% VAT that Swiss residents can take off, that is a potential saving of 39% off LEGO sets and other toys.

There are only three themes that I am get/collect (finances permitting) - City, Creator (Advanced and Expert) as well as the classic Star Wars sets from Eps IV to VI (anything else does not exist). I also keep an eye in Europe with ample chance to see how France, Germany and Switzerland market and offer LEGO.
