Blocks Issue 29 goes from LEGO City to the Land of Ooo

This month’s issue of Blocks magazine goes on-sale today, covering diverse LEGO themes including Exo-Force, CITY, Town with Octan and Dimensions. Adventure Time gets a moment in the spotlight, with a behind-the-scenes look at how the animation joined Dimensions and a build project featuring a variety of fun brick built scenes.

More details on what fans can find in Issue 29 have been shared by the Blocks team:

From the brand new to the now classic, we go behind-the-scenes to find out how EXO-FORCE was developed, featuring an exclusive interview and never-before-seen concept art. Inspired by the feature, our build team has expanded the EXO-FORCE universe to imagine where the theme could have gone next.

Octan turns 25 this year, making it the perfect time to look back at the history of the iconic LEGO energy company. From fictional energy to something more real world, we interview geothermal advocate and volcano enthusiast Andrés Ruzo who is using LEGO sets to educate and inspire the explorers of tomorrow.

In case that was not quite enough LEGO for the month, we check out the big LEGO launch at the Ford Go Further event, look back at every single Mixels set released and demonstrate how to use those rubber bands in your next MOC.
