Han Solo movie’s official title is Solo: A Star Wars Story

Ron Howard, director of the next Star Wars stand alone movie, has revealed the title to be Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Solo: A Star Wars Story is confirmed as the title of the next stand alone movie in the franchise, that will be released next May. The original directors, Phil Lord and Chris Miller were familiar to brick fanatics as the directors of The LEGO Movie. In a very public dismissal, the pair were replaced by Ron Howard with just weeks of filming left to go.

Howard has now released this short video, revealing the title to Star Wars fans:

Despite all of the production woes, the May 25, 2018 release date has not been moved and fans are expecting LEGO sets based on Solo: A Star Wars Story to launch next year on April 20, 2018.

LEGO sets based on Star Wars: The Last Jedi are available now. Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be released on December 14 in the UK and December 15 in the USA.
