LEGO online store prices increase

The official online LEGO store has increased prices on a large number of sets. Sets that were previously priced at £49.99 have increased to £54.99 and sets that were priced at £99.99 have increased to £109.99, a 10% price hike.

41126 Heartlake Riding Club is one of the set that has increased from £49.99 to £54.99. Argos is one of the retailers still selling the set for £49.99.

75151 Clone Turbo Tank is an example of a £99.99 set increasing to £109.99. Argos is one of the retailers still selling the set for £99.99.

Additionally, The LEGO Batman Movie series marks an increase in the price of Collectible Minifigures, from £2.49 to £2.99.

It seems that only sets of £49.99 and above have been subject to the price increase of 10%. This refutes news reports based on a photo of a letter allegedly signed off by UK VP and GM Fiona Wright, claiming that all prices would increase by 5%.
