LEGO Star Wars, City and Friends Advent Calendars – Day 13

Each morning leading up to Christmas day, Brick Fanatics is cracking open all three official LEGO advent calendars to see what goodies are found within

Christmas is approaching and to celebrate the festive season, Brick Fanatics is opening up the LEGO advent calendars each day before sharing our thoughts on what is found behind the doors. Feel free to join us and share your own comments when opening up those advent calendar doors – whether you opted for Star Wars, City or Friends. You can do so on FacebookTwitter or underneath this very feature.

75184 Star Wars: First Order Snowspeeder

It is that completely useless Star Wars model that barely even made it into the final cut of The Force Awakens. It can be hard to even tell what this model is, and I don’t think anyone was longing for a micro version of the First Order Snowspeeder to swoosh around. Thankfully, everyone can appreciate light grey double cheese slopes and modified bricks with studs on the sides.

60155 City: Skiing Coast Guard

The best thing about these LEGO Advent Calendars is when the designers have some real fun. Remember Santa in the shower? That kind of wacky fun is present here, as the Coast Guard minifigure – who should surely be on the beach somewhere watching out for danger – is instead skiing. Good for her.

41326 Friends: Toasting marshmallows

Marshmallow treats today for the Friends. This little scene allows a couple of mini-dolls to sit by the fire and toast some marshmallows. Those brown poles and modified round plate are worth having even if one must freeze their fingers a bit to get them. The panels are useful as well for containers and other projects that require indentations although the colour may be somewhat limiting.
