LEGO Star Wars, City and Friends Advent Calendars – Day 15
Each morning leading up to Christmas day, Brick Fanatics is cracking open all three official LEGO advent calendars to see what goodies are found within
Christmas is approaching and to celebrate the festive season, Brick Fanatics is opening up the LEGO advent calendars each day before sharing our thoughts on what is found behind the doors. Feel free to join us and share your own comments when opening up those advent calendar doors – whether you opted for Star Wars, City or Friends. You can do so on Facebook, Twitter or underneath this very feature.
75184 Star Wars: Snowblower
Do not get me wrong, I love this model. I like it even more than the snowblower form the City Advent Calendar and will absolutely be stealing it for my Winter Village layout. Here is my question – what is it doing in the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar? With all the vastly superior technology available in a galaxy far, far away, haven’t they moved beyond a puny being walking around behind a machine that blows snow? It seems like at a minimum this would be a specialised droid. With that being said, considering how excellent this model is, I am not complaining– just surprised at the designers’ sense of humour.
60155 City: Fire truck
This toy actually feels believable in terms of proportions to a minifigure. I remember having an absolutely giant toy fire truck as a child so there seems to be precedent. The 1×1 black open rounds and the dual bar modified plate are the part highlights of what is otherwise a pretty standard model.
41326 Friends: Mouse house
On the fifteenth day of Christmas my true love gave to me… a third lame pet house. This really is an arch with a few extra bricks, designed to allow a cute critter to sit underneath. It is no doubt neat for pet loving children, getting a whole host of furry LEGO friends with houses.
