New Star Wars: The Last Jedi vehicles revealed
Two of the new First Order vehicles that will appear in Star Wars: The Last Jedi have been officially unveiled.
Artwork and descriptions for the two new vehicles that will appear in Star Wars: The Last Jedi have been revealed, which look to be prime candidates for release as LEGO Star Wars sets.
Fans of the technicalities of Star Wars vehicles will enjoy the information released on the official website. The products that launch to support The Last Jedi refer to the new legged tank as First Order Heavy Assault Walker, but it is known in-universe as the AT-M6 (All Terrain MegaCaliber Six).
The AT-M6 (All Terrain MegaCaliber Six), named for the laser cannon on its back, dwarfs the Empire’s AT-AT; its simian-like gait stabilizes the cannon.
The vehicle that the product line refers to as First Order Star Destroyer is actually named the Dreadnought.
The Dreadnought is classified as a Mandator IV-class warship, featuring two enormous orbital autocannons for large-scale bombardments and 24 point-defense anti-aircraft cannons on its dorsal surface. It’s also big — 7,669.72 meters in length, or 25,162.8 feet.
The two new vehicles were announced in the latest episode of the Star Wars Show:
Both vehicles are prime candidates for release as LEGO Star Wars sets on Force Friday II, when shop.LEGO.com will be offering triple VIP points on all Star Wars orders.
