Pop up LEGO bar to open in Australia

A pop up bar is opening in Australia, themed around LEGO bricks.

Broadsheet Melbourne reports that Legobar will contain over one million LEGO bricks, with both LEGO sculptures decorating the venue and loose elements available to build with. Local DJs will provide music while patrons enjoy beer and building.

“Everyone loves Lego, its nostalgic and this bar is designed to bring out the kid in all of us,” says Demi Montgomer, the bar’s creative director. “We’ll have cocktails and beers along with lots of Lego to play with.”

The pop up bar will arrive in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane in Autumn 2018. The venue is not associated with the LEGO Group.
