Two LEGO professionals took to the San Diego Comic Con show floor to build 70620 NINJAGO City and answer questions from fans.
There are certain things that only happen at an event like San Diego Comic Con, one such thing being see LEGO professionals actually build an upcoming LEGO set. Senior Creative Director on The LEGO NINJAGO Movie range, Simon Lucas, and Senior Design Manger on NINJAGO, Cerim Manovi, built 70620 NINJAGO City live.
The LEGO professionals were keen to credit their design team colleagues who actually designed the set, Christopher Stamp and Nicolaas Vás.
Every 30 minutes into the live build, the pair of LEGO designers answered questions from fans that had been asked on social media. Lucas was asked is favourite part of the set, to which he explained, ‘I love all the little intricate details like the working cash machine, the crab cooker, that you can put a crab in, turn it and it actually cooks it, there’s a working elevator. This set is full of so many cool details from the movie.’
70620 NINJAGO City will be available exclusively at shop.LEGO.com from September 1.
