Star Wars: The Last Jedi released in UK cinemas today
The latest chapter in cinema’s most epic saga, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, is released in the UK today.
Rian Johnson’s sequel to The Force Awakens, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, is released in UK cinemas today in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D. Fans have spent two years speculating about what might happen in the new film, particularly with Luke expected to be at least reluctant to train the Force sensitive Rey. Now audiences might get answers to some of the lingering questions they have had during that time.
Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver reprise their roles in a story that picks up right where J.J. Abrams’ movie left off. This will be the last film to star the late Carrie Fisher.
Here is the very brief synopsis for the movie:
Having taken her first steps into the Jedi world, Rey joins Luke Skywalker on an adventure with Leia, Finn and Poe that unlocks mysteries of the Force and secrets of the past.
A range of LEGO sets based on Star Wars: The Last Jedi was released on September 1, sets that are available to order at shop.LEGO.com.
