Star Wars: The Last Jedi theatrical trailer released
Lucasfilm has released the official theatrical trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, with the film arriving in cinemas this December.
The eighth episode in the Star Wars saga now has a theatrical trailer and poster, giving fans a sense of the story and themes of The Last Jedi.
The director’s chair has been filled by Rian Johnson for this instalment, with Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaacs and Adam Driver reprising their roles. The story will see the battle between the Resistance and the First Order continue, as Rey seeks guidance from Luke Skywalker.
The official synopsis reads:
In Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the Skywalker saga continues as the heroes of The Force Awakens join the galactic legends in an epic adventure that unlocks age-old mysteries of the Force and shocking revelations of the past.
The LEGO sets based on Star Wars: The Last Jedi are available now, giving fans the opportunity to build vehicles and settings from the new movie.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be released on December 14 in the UK and December 15 in the USA.
