World’s largest LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon built in Australia

In case the LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series 75192 Millennium Falcon was not quite large enough, the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Melbourne has built one even bigger.

The most iconic ship in the Star Wars universe, the Millennium Falcon, has been built with 250,000 bricks at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Melbourne. It is the largest ever build of Han Solo’s ship, easily dwarfing the impressive 75192 Millennium Falcon set. Visitors attending the venue have helped to construct the hunk of junk over two weeks, until the five metre long build was complete.

The New Daily reports on the build activity:

“If we were to do it by ourselves, probably at least a month,” said Legoland master builder Dave Holder. “But when you have kids helping it really speeds up the process, and we managed to finish really quickly.”

The Millennium Falcon will be on display until the end of February.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is in cinemas now. The LEGO sets based on the upcoming movie are available now.
