LEGO 75187 BB-8 rumoured to join the Star Wars line
The LEGO Star Wars line has had a few sculpted characters over the years, and the latest rumours suggest that BB-8 will be the next character built in bricks. The spherical droid, who won hearts in The Force Awakens and will appear again in The Last Jedi, may be released later this year or in 2018.
Reliable websites Rebelscum and Brickset have both featured information suggesting that BB-8 will be rolling into LEGO Star Wars collections, with the former speculating on the potential piece count.
There’s very little information there yet – and certainly no images – but the box size and weight is similar to 75094 Imperial Shuttle Tydirium and suggests around 860 pieces.
All future product rumours should be taken as such until confirmed by the LEGO Group.
