LEGO Ideas Women of NASA launch date
The upcoming LEGO Ideas set, Women of NASA, has a confirmed release date of December 1.
Hoth Bricks spotted the announcement in a recent LEGO Community Engagement Team presentation, uploaded to YouTube by BricksRepeat.
It was confirmed in February that Women of NASA will be coming to the LEGO Ideas theme, but no release date was confirmed until the recent LCE presentation in Japan. It brings another space-based set to the LEGO Ideas series after the recent release of 21309 NASA Apollo Saturn V.
The LEGO Ideas website describes Maia Weinstock’s project:
Women have played critical roles throughout the history of the U.S. space program, a.k.a. NASA or the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Yet in many cases, their contributions are unknown or under-appreciated — especially as women have historically struggled to gain acceptance in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
The next LEGO Ideas set due for release is 21310 Old Fishing Store.
