Rare LEGO Star Wars sets part of Rancho Obi-Wan theft
Following yesterday’s news that items have been stolen from the world’s largest Star Wars collection, Rancho Obi-Wan, it has transpired that some of the missing items may be among the most desirable LEGO sets.
Prominent LEGO Star Wars collector and writer Jeremy Beckett confirms that several LEGO Star Wars items are missing and presumed stolen alongside the rare vintage action figures that have been taken.
The sets missing from Steve Sansweet’s collection are:
- 10129 Rebel Snowspeeder
- 10179 Millennium Falcon
- 10212 Imperial Shuttle
- 10221 Super Star Destroyer
Rancho Obi-Wan is a not for profit organisation, housing the largest collection of Star Wars memorabilia in the world. The museum offers tours to schoolchildren and conducts other education activity as part of its stated aim to ‘Inspire through the Force’.
Anyone who has information on the missing items, for example if any of the above samples have come up for sale in the California area, should contact [email protected].
