UK fans get to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi tonight
Tonight UK fans will have the first opportunity to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi, one year since the release of the last film.
The official UK release date for Star Wars: The Last Jedi is tomorrow, but special previews tonight will the film screened as part of a double feature with The Force Awakens, starting at 9pm. Midnight screenings showing The Last Jedi only are also taking place in cinemas across the country.
As is typical for Star Wars films, the plot of the Rian Johnson directed movie is shrouded in secrecy. The film sees Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver reprise their roles from The Force Awakens in a story that picks up right where J.J. Abrams’ movie left off. This will be the last film to star the late Carrie Fisher.

Having taken her first steps into the Jedi world, Rey joins Luke Skywalker on an adventure with Leia, Finn and Poe that unlocks mysteries of the Force and secrets of the past.
