Artist uses LEGO to convey Brexit message

Xavier Espana Fernandez has followed up his Mexican border wall LEGO art with a new piece commenting on Brexit.

Advertising student Xavier Espana Fernandez has worked with designer Lobsang Wengchen to envision how an advert commenting on Brexit could encompass LEGO elements, expertly recreating the LEGO pieces digitally and incorporating 10214 Tower Bridge into the image.

Like the previous piece commenting on Donald Trump’s desire to build a wall across the border of Mexico, this latest design uses the symbolism of a LEGO bridge connecting the UK and Europe. The previous image went viral across the Internet, with coverage on many news websites.

The image is not associated with the LEGO Group, with Fernandez confirming on his website, ‘All ad works were done by personal enjoyment, so none of them is officially approved any brand.’
